Building upon the success of their first 3D printer, the new and ruggedized Axi2 adds a number of new features, including Wi-Fi, adjustable stage lighting and a rail-stabilized motion system to deliver high-quality, dimensionally accurate and aesthetically pleasing prints. This incredibly quiet printer also employs a color touch screen, large build volume, high performance tool-head, direct drive extruder and a heated BL Touch automatic 25-point mesh bed leveling system to enable edge-to-edge printing. The magnetic, powder-coated PEI build plate is flexible enough to allow prints to be easily removed and a run-out sensor detects when there is no more filament. The system pauses the print so the filament can be replaced before resuming the print.

The large build volume and rugged frame design deliver quality and “dimensionally accurate” results. Axi2’s support of filaments from a wide range of manufacturers keeps material costs to a minimum. Features a 280x280x285mm build volume for large prints on the desktop.

• Quality Tool-head
Combines a 1.75mm dual-drive extruder with a hardened steel nozzle integrated with a scientifically designed cooling fan.

• Automatic Mesh Bed Leveling
Touch probe creates a 25-point mesh. Mesh is used to create a uniform base for printing. Improves bed adhesion and print quality.

• Heated Bed Plate
Fully heated bed plate ensures good print adhesion to the build plate and layer adhesion throughout the build process.

• Filament Runout Sensor
Detects when filament runs out and then pauses print. Filament can be added and then the print resumed.

• Removable & Flexible Build Surface
A PEI-coated build surface provides good material adhesion and detachment. A flexible and removable bed means prints are easy to access and remove.
